TWU continues to encourage voting, civic engagement

Not only has Texas Woman’s been confirmed as a polling site for the upcoming local election, but also the university has once again been designated as a “Voter Friendly Campus.”

TWU student appears on Wheel of Fortune, Apr. 6

Texas Woman’s political science student, Alexa Hoekstra, recently competed on the iconic game show, Wheel of Fortune. The previously-tapped episode will air during college week on Thursday, Apr. 6, and the university is hosting a watch party in the SUHH Bridges Auditorium, 6-7:30 p.m.

President of the Texas NAACP to speak at TWU

Gary Bledsoe, president of the Texas NAACP, will visit TWU’s Denton campus on Wednesday, Mar. 30 at noon to talk about the glass ceiling and workplace discrimination as part of Women’s History Month activities.
