2021 Outstanding Student Awards

The TWU Alumni Association announced the recipients of the 2021 Outstanding Student Awards for graduate and undergraduate students.

Some offices displaced due to winter storm damage

TWU is still recovering from the winter storm damage and several offices have been forced to temporarily relocate or work remotely. Particularly hard hit were offices located in the Student Union at Hubbard Hall and ACT. 

TWU Celebrates Women’s History Month

As the largest public institution primarily for women, Texas Woman’s proudly supports Women’s History Month with a slate of programs and activities during March. Some of the university’s activities like “Citizens at Last” on March 30 support the 2021 theme while others like the “Bombshell” on March 2 cover other important topics beyond the right to vote.

TWU earns bicycle friendly honorable mention

For the first time, TWU earned an honorable mention from the League of American Bicyclists’ Bicycle Friendly University program. The League’s 2020 round of Bicycle Friendly University awards, announced on Feb. 18, honored 38 institutions, including TWU and three other new program entrants.
