Council for Educator Preparation

The Council for Educator Preparation (CEP) serves as a university-wide advisory and recommending body to assist Texas Woman's University's Educator Preparation Program remain compliant with Texas Administrative Code (TAC) requirements, specifically Subchapter C, §228.25.

It provides a collaborative framework where faculty, staff, and external partners assist in the design, delivery, evaluation, and major policy decisions of educator programs. Additionally, the council functions as a forum to review curriculum proposals and ensure they meet state certification requirements and university protocols.
