Commuter Meal Plans

Meal plans allow you to eat in the Dining Hall as well as use Dining Dollars to purchase food items at any retail location, like Chik-fil-A or Bunsen Tea Labs, using a preloaded amount on your ID card. If you would like the convenience of being able to use your ID card to pay for meals, check out the commuter meal plan options.

Swipe It Forward Meal Donations

Meal donation drive: February 5 - February 20, 2024

Each Fall and Spring semester, students with meal plans may donate up to two meals per week using the GET app. Simply log in with your student ID during a donation drive and click “Donate Meals."

Access to nutritious food is vital for our functional health and our quality of life. By donating your extra meals to this campaign, you are making food more accessible to others. Together we can alleviate student hunger, one meal swipe at a time. If you have questions or are interested in joining the student organization Swipe Out Hunger, please email Health and Wellbeing.

Need a meal?

TWU Housing and Dining, CARE, and the Health and Wellbeing Initiative departments are collaborating to address student hunger through the Swipe It Forward program. The purpose of Swipe it Forward Meals is to help fill the gap for students experiencing hunger by providing meals. Depending upon the number of meals donated, an eligible student may be able to receive around 5 meal swipes. Each swipe provides a meal at the TWU dining hall on the Denton campus. The meals must be used in the Spring 2024 semester in the dining hall. Students must be currently enrolled at TWU. The deadline to apply is February 20, 2024.
