Location
The TWU Visual Arts Fine Arts Building is located at 302 Pioneer Circle in Denton, TX.
Located at the corner of Texas and Oakland Streets. Parking is available at the south entrance, in the lot accessible from Texas Street. Please note: The south entrance has stairs. A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available along Pioneer Circle, for the building's north entrance; that entrance has both stairs and ramps.
Getting to Campus
TWU Denton campus is conveniently located near local interstates and public transit; and a short distance from parks, restaurants, shopping centers, libraries, and nightlife.
From Dallas
Take I-35E N toward Denton. Take exit 464 onto US-77 North, Dallas Drive. In 1.5 miles, keep right onto S Bell Ave. In 0.9 miles, take a slight left turn onto N Bell Ave. In 0.3 miles, turn left onto Texas Street. In 800 ft, make a right into the parking lot right before Oakland St.
NOTE: For accessible parking, continue passed the parking lot and make a right onto Oakland Street. In 400 ft, make a right onto Pioneer Circle. The destination is on your right.
From Fort Worth
Take I-35W N toward Denton / DFW Airport / US-287 N. Take exit 85A to merge onto I-35E S toward Dallas. In 1.5 miles, take exit 465B toward US-377, Fort Worth Drive. In 0.2 miles, turn left onto Fort Worth Dr N. In 1.6 miles, turn right onto W Parkway St. (This will turn into Oakland St around the Denton Public Library- Emily Fowler Branch). In 0.7 miles, turn right onto Texas St. In 100 ft, turn left into the parking lot.
NOTE: For accessible parking, continue on W Parkway / Oakland Street, passed Texas St. In 400 ft, make a right onto Pioneer Circle. The destination is on your right.
From Sanger
Take I-35 S toward Denton. Take exit 471 toward Denton / Krum. In 0.4 miles, turn left onto US-77. In 4.1 miles, turn left onto E Third St. In 400 ft, turn left onto N Locust St. In 500 ft, turn right onto Oakland St. In 0.4 miles, turn left onto Texas St. In 100 ft, turn left in the parking lot. Arrive at destination.
From Public Transit
Take public transit to the DART - Trinity Mills station. Board the DCTA A-Train Northbound toward Denton. Exit train at the Downtown Denton Transit Center. Either walk to N Bell Ave and head north toward Texas Street, make a left, and destination will be on your right, at the corner of Oakland St. Or board the designated DCTA bus and get off at closest destination.
