Circle of Light

Circle of Light 2023

The five divisions of TWU's the School of the Arts & Design – dance, fashion, music, theatre, and visual arts – are joining forces to create the Circle of Light, an art-themed festival in and around Pioneer Circle between the Visual Arts Building and the Music Building on Dec. 7, 2023.

The evening will start with the ribbon cutting for the mural painted by Visual Arts students on the side of the building at the corner of Oakland and Third Street. There will be a reception at 5 p.m., followed by the ribbon cutting at 5:15.

The Circle of Light will begin at 5:45 p.m. at Pioneer Circle and is open to the public.

This year's festival will include a folklórico show by Music's new mariachi ensemble and Dance's International Dance Company, on the steps of Music Building.

The evening will culminate in the annual A Very Merry Concert in the Margo Jones Performance Hall in the Music Building at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 7).
