TWU alumna Tiana James a rising marketing star

Tiana James's road to the L.A. fashion scene is one less taken: Edmond, Oklahoma, to Albuquerque, New Mexico, through the Texas Panhandle and finally to Dallas-Fort Worth.
"You can call me a bit of a nomad," said James, a 2014 graduate of the Texas Woman's University fashion merchandising program.
According to Ad Age magazine, you can also call her a rising star in the ultra-competitive business of public relations and marketing. In September, Ad Age named James one its 2022 40 Under 40 honorees.
Dream to learn English turns to wave of academic achievement

Fernanda Muniz had a dream to spend a semester learning English in the United States. Muniz ended up accomplishing a lot more than learning English. She went on to earn an undergraduate degree and MBA from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio followed by a PhD in business administration from the University of North Texas in Denton.
Muniz has a new job at Texas Woman’s University as an assistant professor of marketing in the Department of Management and Marketing.
TWU COB alum finds success in crunching numbers

It took just one accounting class and Caryn Riggs was in love. In love with numbers, that is. They made sense. They were logical to her. The Texas Woman’s University alumna came from a family of educators, and the original plan was to be a teacher. That detour in accounting led Riggs to a rewarding career in finance and accounting.
TWU HCA Teams Take Top Honors at Virtual CAHME Case Competition

Two graduate student teams from Texas Woman’s Health Care Administration Department took top honors at the Virtual TWU CAHME (Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education) Case Competition on Sept. 24.
Finance student recipient of first annual RIA Talent Advantage Student Scholarship

Texas Woman’s Finance student Madeline Griffith is one of 12 students to be awarded a $10,000 scholarship from Schwab Advisor Services' 2022 RIA Talent Advantage Student Scholarship. The scholarship is for the 2022-2023 academic year.
