Types of PCards
A Department PCard is issued to a TWU department and is managed by TWU full-time employees (primary and secondary reconcilers). The department card can be checked out for use by any authorized user within the department. While checked out, the security of the department card is the responsibility of the authorized user. Once the card and transaction receipt are returned to the reconciler, the authorized user is no longer responsible for the card. The reconcilers are responsible for the security of the card while it is within the department and for completing the monthly reconciliation process.
An Individual PCard can only be issued to a full-time TWU employee. That employee is the only person authorized to use the card. Sharing an individual card may result in permanent cancellation of card privileges. The cardholder is responsible for the security of the card and for completing the monthly reconciliation process.
