Graduate Student Orientation

This year, Texas Woman’s University will be hosting a virtual orientation for new graduate students during the week of August 17. All new graduate students are invited and encouraged to participate by logging into Canvas, the online platform for the orientation. The orientation, which we call Pioneer Camp, can be accessed beginning in the morning of Monday, August 17.

This orientation offers an overview of TWU’s unique educational opportunities and support services for graduate students, including information about research opportunities, libraries, technology, career services, parking, and financial aid, among other things. We hope and anticipate that the orientation will support you and your academic success at TWU.

On Thursday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m., the Graduate Student Council will be hosting a live session via Google Meet, where you can meet other new graduate students. More information can be found in the Pioneer Camp for graduate students in Canvas.

For more information, email the Center for Student Development or call 940-898-3626.
