TWU Theatre announces 2023-24 season

Texas Woman's University Theatre's 2023-24 lineup features a classic by Moliere, the return to the Red Bud stage by a TWU alumna and a modern take on a Greek myth, all wrapped around one of history's most famous and greatest plays.

Petersen featured by Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators

The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators selected TWU Visual Arts professor Sheli Petersen as its featured illustrator in July.

TWU's Ilana Morgan has been awarded a $35,000 grant to continue her outreach and research working with justice-involved girls ages 15-17 in a Denton County post-adjudication program called Courage to Change. The program takes place in a gym that is part of the Denton ISD Sparks campus, which operates as part of the Denton County Juvenile Detention Center.

Masters student to hold thesis exhibition

Texas Woman's University visual arts master's student Caitlin Spencer will put forward an art exhibition entitled "The Body as Voice" as her thesis project beginning June 1 in the TWU Fine Arts Building East and West Galleries.

Gamblin and Friends to celebrate collaboration

Dance professor Sarah Gamblin will perform to music composed and recorded by her 14-year-old son Gus and his father, Paul Slavens, during "Sarah Gamblin and Friends Dance" on Saturday, May 20, at 7 p.m. in the Dance-Gymnastics Laboratory Building's studio theatre.
