Degree Requirements
The bachelor of general studies degree requirements include:
- Completion of Texas Core Requirements
- 36 hours of 3000-4000 level concentration area courses divided between two or three areas
- 2 Concentration areas (18 hours in each area; 9 hours must be taken at TWU)
- 3 Concentration areas (12 hours in each area; 6 hours must be taken at TWU)
- Grade of C or better in each concentration area course
- Completion of Global Perspectives Course (3 hours)
- 2.0 Cumulative and Institutional GPA
- Completion of 120 hours total for bachelor's degree (30 hours of degree must be taken at TWU)
- Completion of BGS Reflection Paper (BGS Graduation Requirement)
- Completion of BGS Resume (BGS Graduation Requirement)
