Apply for Financial Aid
- Apply early to improve your chances of getting maximum aid
- Review the Financial Aid Checklist (on the Financial Aid homepage)
- File your Federal Tax Return
- Create your FSA ID
- Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Pay Your Bill
The Office of the Bursar has detailed information about Paying for Classes, as well as other payment information.
Graduate Assistantships
The Graduate School of Texas Woman’s University provides a limited number of Graduate Assistantships for qualified graduate students.
To apply for a graduate assistantship in SLIS, see the information and application on the Graduate School website. Submit your application via the TWU Handshake database of Career Connections. After you have submitted the GA application, send an email to slis@twu.edu to let the SLIS office know that you have completed the application.
Please note:
- Admission to the Graduate School must precede an appointment to a graduate assistantship.
- Graduate Assistants must enroll for at least 6 hours during the semester when receiving the Graduate Assistantship.
