TWU holds robotics camp for girls

Texas Woman's University's Computer Science, Future Classroom Lab and Education of the Deaf programs joined forces to hold Camp CoDE for Girls this summer.

Four deaf students – one from Denton and three from Dallas – and their teachers participated in the inaugural Camp CoDE (Computing in Deaf Education), which was held in June at the Future Classroom lab on the TWU Denton campus. The students built and coded their own robots.

Computer Science holds Cybercamp 2022

TWU's Computer Science held its 2022 Cybercamp in June. There were 24 participants from local middle and high schools, 10 of which were girls.

TWU informatics students receive HIMSS Visionary Scholarship awards

Two TWU informatics students have received Visionary Scholarship Awards from the Dallas-Ft. Worth chapter of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Inc. (HIMSS).
