The CSL is committed to fulfilling TWU’s mission to cultivate engaged leaders and global citizens. The Center seeks to fulfill the mission by coordinating and collaborating with internal and external partners to provide financial resources, educational programs and leadership development opportunities.

The Center for Student Leadership oversees two premier scholarship programs — Legacy Leaders and The Presidents Leadership Council. In addition to overseeing these scholarships, the Center coordinates and collaborates with internal and external partners to provide programming that is aligned with the Center’s vision to cultivate confident, competent, socially responsible, and civically engaged leaders who learn, lead, and serve with integrity, accountability, and excellence.

Leadership framework

The Center developed a strategic framework which includes ten key student learning outcomes, which are aligned with the TWU’s strategic plan and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies.
