The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership Center for Student Leadership is committed to:

- preparing CSL Scholars and TWU students for executive-level careers
- helping students identify their Gallup strengths and develop critical leadership competencies
- providing CSL scholars and TWU students with SEED (Service, Education, Experiential Learning, and Development) opportunities to nurture their growth as leaders
- equipping students with the tools and skills to build their confidence, improve communication skills, make connections, develop critical thinking skills, and obtain marketable credentials
- inspiring and encouraging students to boldly lead, boldly serve, and boldly climb past the “broken rung” on their career path
- providing financial assistance and support to students through its two premier scholarship programs: Legacy Leaders and President’s Leadership Council (PLC)
