Scholarship Invitational
TWU will award scholarships during the Annual Scholarship Invitational held in February. This event is by invitation only. Candidates will interview for prestigious scholarships that in many cases will work to cover all tuition and fees, including:
- President’s Leadership Council
- Legacy Leaders
- Terry Foundation Scholarship
- Texas Leadership Scholarship
To be considered for the Scholarship Invitational:
- Submit TWU application through Apply Texas (2-3 business days following receipt of your application, you will receive an email from TWU that includes an ID specific to you).
- Create a Pioneer Portal account with your specific ID.
- Visit the TWU Scholarship System website and click the “Sign In” button at top right of screen; sign in using your Pioneer Portal account information.
- Complete the Scholarship System general application. After completing this application, the system will list the various scholarship opportunities available to you for which you qualify.
- After completing the general application, the system will list the various scholarship opportunities available to you for which you qualify.
- Click on the Distinguished Scholars Application, complete the application form(s) for the indicated scholarships (listed above), and submit as indicated in the scholarship system.

The Scholarship Invitational was unique to all of my prior experiences. I was able to speak with faculty and current students, all of whom expressed their desire to see me succeed. There are no strangers at TWU. The family and the opportunities that I have been given at TWU have changed my life. The Texas Woman's community is for everyone. We cannot wait to welcome you home.
