President’s Leadership Council

Lead Through Service. Grow Through Community

President's Leadership Council is designed for students who are committed to making a difference through service, involvement, and leadership. Whether you're stepping into your first leadership role or continuing to build on previous experiences, PLC provides the community, mentorship, and opportunities to help you grow with confidence while creating meaningful impact at Texas Woman's University.

Why President's Leadership Council?

College is more than earning a degree—it's discovering how you can make a difference.

President's Leadership Council is designed for students who are eager to get involved, give back, and grow through service. Many PLC Scholars arrive with a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute, but they may still be discovering their own leadership potential. Through meaningful service, campus involvement, mentorship, and leadership development, PLC provides the foundation to help students find their place, grow their confidence, and become leaders who strengthen every community they're part of.

Because when students choose to serve together, their collective impact reaches far beyond what any one person could accomplish alone.

The PLC Experience

PLC is built on the belief that leadership grows through service and community.

As part of the Scholar Programs community, you'll connect with fellow scholars who are committed to making a positive difference at TWU. Through service projects, leadership development, mentorship, campus involvement, SPSO, and meaningful relationships, you'll discover that your greatest impact often comes from helping others succeed.

Together, PLC Scholars create an impact that reaches far beyond what any one person could accomplish alone. By investing in the TWU community and supporting one another, you'll strengthen your own leadership while helping build a campus where others can thrive.

College is more than earning a degree—it's discovering how you can make a difference. PLC provides the foundation to help students find their place, grow their confidence, and become leaders who strengthen every community they're part of.
