Our Campuses

From our traditional college campus in Denton to the Southwestern Medical District of Dallas to the Texas Medical Center in Houston, we understand our state and the health care needs of its people.

Our distinct campus locations were not chosen by chance. They are distinct learning environments where students learn from the best in their field so they may, in turn, provide the best for their patients.

Denton Campus

Texas Woman’s University’s Denton Physical Therapy program offers students the opportunity to pursue their physical therapy education on TWU’s beautiful 270-acre flagship campus in the heart of Denton, one of North Texas’ most vibrant college communities. The campus combines a welcoming, close-knit atmosphere with the resources and opportunities of a comprehensive university.

Students interested in physical therapy can begin their journey at TWU through undergraduate programs such as kinesiology/exercise science, biology, psychology, family science, and child development, although no specific undergraduate major is required for admission to the School of Physical Therapy.

The School of Physical Therapy offers multiple pathways for students interested in advancing their education and careers, including the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Therapy, and the DPT-to-PhD Fast Track program. Together, these programs provide opportunities to prepare for clinical practice, research, teaching, leadership, and the advancement of the physical therapy profession—all within the supportive and collaborative environment of TWU’s Denton campus.
