Digital Days summer camp enters 4th year

The popular STEM-based summer camp Digital Days offered by the Department of Literacy and Learning enters its fourth year. This year's camp takes place June 27-July 1 for the first 20 children, ages 5-8, registered.

Visiting Literacy Research Scholar Symposium

The Davis Simpson Endowment and Texas Woman's University Department of Literacy and Learning present the 2022 Visiting Literacy Research Scholar Symposium. Lorena Escoto Germán, co-founder of the groups #DisruptTexts and Multicultural Classroom, will speak at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 via Zoom.

The keynote speaker for the 55th Rose Spicola Forum in Literacy Learning will be Catherine Compton-Lilly, Ed.D., the John C. Hungerpiller Professor of elementary education at the University of South Carolina.
