My company would like to participate in on-campus recruiting for TWU students. How do I get started?

When are the best times to table or recruit students?
Students are looking for internships throughout the year, but January-April and August-December are the times in which student traffic is heaviest on campus. The times between 11am and 2pm tend to be the most active for foot traffic.
How can I receive TWU internship news and event invitations?
If you are interested in receiving internship communications, reach out to our team to connect. We are happy to connect with new employers who want to share internships with TWU students.
Can I host an on-campus/in-person event?
Tabling, presentations, and information sessions can be hosted by employers. For in-person event requests and to learn more about recruiting opportunities, please reach out to our team directly.
What are ways in which you can market my internship opportunity?
We have a few ways in which we share employer opportunities including individualized emails, a weekly internship email, flyer sharing, and employer events and networking. Reach out to us to inquire or share your opportunities. Meet the team.
Employer Event & Expo Expectations
When does the Internship Expo occur?
The Internship Expo occurs once every fall and spring semester. Additional smaller recruitment events are available throughout the year.
I will be attending the All Majors Internship Expo as an employer. What do I need to know?
Employers may bring a tablecloth/banners and any materials, giveaways, or brochures you would like to share with the students. Each organization will be provided 1 table and 2 chairs.
Location
The event will take place in Hubbard Hall Southeast Ballroom located at 303 Administration Drive, Denton, Texas 76204.
The parking garage will be located at 1201 Oakland St., Denton, TX 76204.
Lunch
Each employer will be provided a lunch voucher equaling $12 to be used at retail locations on campus. Please know you are not limited to $12 - the voucher may be used in addition to any additional payment you choose to use to cover the remaining cost.
Employer Break Room & Refreshments
- Drink refreshments will be provided throughout the event. You will find water at the front of Southeast Ballroom in between the main doors
- An employer break room will be available throughout the event for employers to take a break or have a quiet spot to eat lunch if you so choose. Various refreshments will be made available.
Parking
Attending employers will receive a complimentary parking permit to be used for the day of the event. You may park on the 4th floor of the Oakland Parking Complex. Be sure to print the permit and display it on your car dashboard. We will have 2 golf carts available at 9:30 to 11:30 am and 1:30 to 2:30 pm for anyone who would like transportation to and from the building. If you prefer to walk, you can walk down Oakland St. and enter Hubbard Hall on Administration Dr. to go up the stairs or continue to the front to use the ramp.

Where is the expo located?
The event will take place in Hubbard Hall Southeast Ballroom located at 303 Administration Drive, Denton, Texas 76204.
I will be attending an Internship recruitment event on campus (not the Internship Expo). What do I need to know?
Most recruitment events will be held in the Student Union in Hubbard Hall or the Pioneer Center for Student Excellence located in the Blagg-Huey Library on the 2nd floor. Final details will always be provided at least 2-3 days before the event.
Parking information will be made available prior to the event. Park Mobile parking is readily available around campus along with the Oak Street parking garage.
