Hometown: Round Rock, TX
Education: B.A. In Art History, The University of North Texas; M.A. Art Education at The University of North Texas
About Me: I have worked in higher education for over a decade helping students with testing as well as college readiness. I know the college experience can be a daunting one, so I enjoy any opportunity I can get to help students to further their academic careers and navigate college readiness. In my personal time I like to engage in all things nerdy. Often, you'll find me playing TCG's such as Pokémon, reading comics and manga, watching some new anime, making art, or walking my husky doggie Gwen Stacy.

Paige Anderson

Academic Advisor I

Hometown: Prosper, TX
Education: B.A. Music Education, Texas Woman’s University
About Me: I am a first-generation with a bachelor’s in music education. During my time as an undergrad at TWU, I did my best to be involved in being a part of the community. I worked on campus at Bunsen Tea Lab for 4 years as well as was a member of our Wind Symphony for 4 years as a flute player. I served as an Orientation Leader during the summer of 2023 and loved every second of it — which led me to want to become an academic advisor. I believe in helping others in any way I can through empathy and encouragement. I strive to create a safe environment for students who walk through the doors of TWU and be a guide for those who need it. Outside of work, I love to play video games with friends, spend time with family, read, cook, and spend time with my adorable (and scary at times) cat, Winnie.

Hometown: Fort Worth, TX
Education: B.A. Dance Studies, double Minor in Sociology and Business Management, Texas Woman’s University
About Me: As a proud first-generation Mexican-American immigrant student, my journey at Texas Woman's University began as a transfer student. During my time as an undergraduate, I was deeply involved on campus, serving as an Orientation Leader and a Resident Assistant for the Department of Housing and Dining. These experiences ignited my passion for working with students, and I knew I wanted to continue supporting them beyond my time as a student. I’m now fortunate to pursue that passion as an Academic Advisor, where I help guide students on their path to success and take pride in being part of their journey to graduation. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my best friends, watching movies, and discovering new coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping spots!
