Henry G. Torres, Ph.D.
Dr. Torres is Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at
Texas Woman’s University System in Denton since July 2024 where he leads a team of IT professionals across three campuses. He has over 20 years’ experience in higher education including as CIO and Adjunct Professor for the Arkansas State University System in Jonesboro Arkansas.
While at A-State, Dr. Torres was the key member of a high-tech start-up where he led the creation of a software outsourcing company called Rural Sourcing, Inc. developing it to $1.6 million in annual sales in 24 months. In addition to being on the cover of Computer World magazine, he was interviewed in many of the 55+ national publications where Rural Sourcing was featured. Rural Sourcing was sold to its largest customer and has grown to become a multi-million-dollar company employing over 200 individuals.
Before transitioning his career to higher education, he was an information technology executive specializing in areas of retail distribution, logistics, store operations and e-commerce. His career included executive positions with Wal-Mart, Neiman-Marcus, CSK Auto and Frederick’s of Hollywood.
Degrees earned are Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University, Master’s in Business Administration from Henderson State University, and a PhD in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems Security Training at Kennesaw State University.
Naveed Aslam
Naveed Aslam is the Executive Director of Enterprise Applications, Data, and AI at Texas Woman’s University. He leads the strategy and support for more than 100 enterprise systems that enable the university’s academic and administrative operations. Since joining TWU in 2024, he has driven modernization efforts to improve efficiency and enhance the student and employee experience.
With over 19 years of experience, Naveed has held leadership roles in higher education, financial services, and global manufacturing, including positions at SVP Worldwide and Northwest Bank. He specializes in enterprise applications, ERP and CRM systems, data platforms, and digital transformation.
He holds an MBA from Niagara University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Naveed is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and maintains Oracle Cloud, ITIL, and Microsoft development certifications.Beyond his leadership role, Naveed is committed to education and workforce development, serving as an Adjunct Instructor in Computer Science and IT at Tarrant County College and Texas Woman’s University.
AJ Galatas
AJ Galatas, as the Director of Infrastructure for IT Solutions at Texas Woman’s University, brings 27 years of IT industry experience. He leads a multidisciplinary team of systems administrators, engineers, network professionals, and unified communications specialists
responsible for server infrastructure, storage platforms, telecommunications, and network services, with a strong focus on system stability and modernization. He is known for quickly understanding complex systems and how they interconnect, he helps ensure reliable and scalable operations across the university.
Before joining TWU, AJ held leadership roles including Director of Information Technology and Director of Operations at Expedia, and earlier a project manager for Blockbuster. He holds an Associate degree in Electronics, a Bachelor’s in Business Information Systems, and a Master’s in Network Management and Communications.
AJ also teaches networking and operating systems as an adjunct instructor at TWU and outside of work, he enjoys 3D printing, indie video games, and spending time with his five grandchildren.
Allen Claytor
As Director of IT Operations, Support Services, and Strategy, Allen leads a dedicated team focused on making technology a powerful enabler for students, faculty, and staff. Their mission is to deliver seamless, innovative, and reliable solutions that empower the campus community to succeed in and beyond the classroom.
His team takes a collaborative approach, ensuring services evolve with the university’s needs while upholding strong standards of security and compliance. By prioritizing system integrity and data protection, they help create a safe, connected environment where technology supports long-term growth and success.
With more than 20 years at TWU, Allen has witnessed the campus and its technology needs evolve firsthand. Throughout these changes, he has remained focused on keeping students, faculty, and staff at the center of technology services. Allen holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Networking Information Systems and certifications from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, ITIL, HDI, Data Recovery and Forensics, and CompTIA.
Bill Maddox
With over 31 years of experience in Information Technology, Bill brings a deep and well-rounded expertise to the field. For the past 17 years, he has been part of Texas Woman’s University (TWU), where he has contributed to advancing IT services and support.
Over the last 13 years, Billl has worked within IT Solutions, beginning his journey as an on-site technician. Through dedication, hands-on experience, and a strong commitment to service excellence, he steadily progressed through the ranks to my current role as Manager of the Technology Service Desk. In this position, he leads a team focused on delivering reliable, user-centered technical support and continuously improving service operations.
Outside of professional work, Bill enjoys creative and craft-based hobbies. He spends free time creating pottery and exploring the art and science of brewing—producing his own beers, meads, and wines.
Niki Peyton
Niki Peyton serves as Associate Director of Information Security and Information Security Officer at Texas Woman’s University, where she provides strategic leadership for institutional cybersecurity initiatives that protect university systems, data, and operations while supporting the institution’s academic and research mission.
With more than 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and over two decades in enterprise IT operations and technical support at State Farm Insurance, Niki brings a strong background in security operations, risk management, compliance, and technology leadership. Her experience spans enterprise environments and higher education, with a focus on building resilient, collaborative, and service-oriented security programs.
Niki holds an Associate of Science degree and Cisco certification from North Central Texas College and maintains industry certifications, including CompTIA Security+, HDI, and Google. She is passionate about mentorship, continuous improvement, and advancing cybersecurity practices that support institutional resilience, compliance, and the evolving needs of higher education.
Tabatha Rodriguez Fedorisko
As the Interim Associate Director of the Project Management Office within IT Solutions at Texas Woman’s University, Tabatha Rodriguez Fedorisko provides leadership and oversight for project planning, business process analysis, technology communication, and engagement initiatives that support university operations and strategic technology efforts. In this role, she works to strengthen collaboration between IT Solutions and university partners while helping ensure that projects, processes, and services are aligned with institutional needs.
With a strong background in sales and finance, education, and managing both projects and people, Tabatha brings experience, along with a practical, people-centered approach to technology leadership. Her experience has shaped her ability to build relationships, understand stakeholder needs, improve processes, and help teams translate complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions. She values thoughtful planning, clear communication, and sustainable processes that help teams work more effectively and better serve the TWU community.
Tabatha holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching. She is passionate about developing people, supporting continuous improvement, and creating a strong, supportive workplace where team members feel encouraged, respected, and empowered to do their best work. Through this lens, she brings a collaborative and service-oriented approach to supporting technology services that are clear, accessible, and responsive to the evolving needs of higher education.
