The Little Chapel-in-the-Woods secured its place in history and was recently recognized by the Texas Society of Architects during the organization’s 82nd Annual Conference and Design Expo held in San Antonio on October 7-9. The group honored the Chapel with its Architectural Landmark Award.

Legislature OKs $100 million for health sciences center

The Texas Legislature today authorized $100 million to construct a health sciences building on the Denton campus of Texas Woman’s University. The funding was part of a $3.3 billion campus construction project that legislators approved for Texas universities in the waning moments of a third special session.
