TWU to host Pioneer Preview Day Oct. 23, 2021

Oct. 11, 2021 — DENTON — Texas Woman’s University will host Pioneer Preview Day — an open house event for potential first-year and transfer students — from 8 a.m. to 12:30 pm, Saturday, Oct. 23 on the university’s Denton campus.

Various sessions and events will take place throughout the day, including a panel discussion with current TWU students. Information sessions will cover a variety of topics including admissions, housing, financial aid and scholarships. Prospective students and their families also will have the opportunity to participate in a campus tour. Lunch will be provided in TWU Dining Hall at 12:35 pm for all who register, check-in and attend the event. 

Prospective students could win $1,000 to go toward the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 tuition and fees at TWU. Awards will be presented during a drawing to one first-year or transfer student at Pioneer Preview Day. Students must be eligible for admission to TWU to claim the award and must be present for the drawing to win.

Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the front entrance of the Student Union at Hubbard Hall on Administration Drive. For a campus map, visit twu.edu/maps and click on “Denton Campus Location.” Free parking is available throughout the Denton campus during the event.
