Texas Woman’s University has released its list of graduates for the spring 2021 semester.

Two TWU students selected for prestigious Schweitzer Fellowship program

Two Texas Woman’s doctoral candidates will spend the next year creating programs serving and advocating for members of minority communities through the prestigious Dallas-Fort Worth Albert Schweitzer Fellowship program. Paloma Silva (‘23) and Tamara Starling (‘23) are two of 13 students across North Texas selected for Schweitzer Fellowships, a cohort-based program in which graduate and medical students create innovative programs fulfilling unmet health and wellbeing needs within Dallas-Fort Worth communities.

TWU’s CWPPP sponsors free political campaign workshops for women

Building off a campaign season that saw an increase in women running for political office, Texas Woman’s University’s Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy (CWPPP) is offering free online workshops July 17 and 31 to provide practical advice about topics critical to preparing and running an election campaign. The workshops are open to women across the state of Texas.

CWE recognizes 27 women veterans with entrepreneur grants

As part of its ongoing effort to boost women-owned businesses, the Center for Women Entrepreneurs at Texas Woman’s University announces the selection of 27 female veterans in Texas to receive awards valued between $1,000 and $10,000 through its inaugural Veteran Woman Entrepreneur Grant program.

TWU releases spring 2021 deans', chancellor's lists

Texas Woman's University has released its deans' and chancellor's lists for the spring 2021 semester.

Undergraduate students who complete at least 12 graded credit hours and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average are eligible for the deans' list. Students who have achieved a 4.0 GPA are named to the chancellor's list.
