TWU Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy provides tuition for Texas women enrolled in UT campaign school

It just became easier for women living in Texas to prepare to run for elected office. Any Texas woman who enrolls in the next cohort of the LBJ Women’s Campaign School, a training program at the University of Texas at Austin for potential candidates and campaign managers, will now be able to attend for free.

TWU Legacy Leaders share their experiences of preparing for college

Often the key to success in college is taking advantage of the many preparatory opportunities available in high school, especially dual high school and college credit offered by Early College High Schools (ECHS), as four Texas Woman’s Legacy Leaders students discovered. Thanks to the Center for Student Leadership, they not only have continued to thrive in college, but they also had the opportunity to share their experiences and inspire others as well.

Texas Woman’s students learned about visioning, relationship building and the importance of leading with integrity, as well as discovered new sides to themselves, during the inaugural LeaderShape Institute, sponsored by the Center for Student Leadership and held March 15-18 at Bridgeport Camp and Conference Center.

Center for Women Entrepreneurs announces new round of grants for women veterans

The Center for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE) at Texas Woman’s University will be accepting submissions for its Veteran Woman Entrepreneur Grant program, which supports women veterans in Texas who own their own businesses or are interested in launching one, starting on Monday, April 25, 2022.
