Cesario elected to AWHONN Board of Directors

Sandra Cesario, PhD, MS, RNC, FAAN, a professor and PhD program director in the College of Nursing at TWU Houston, has been elected President-Elect of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Board of Directors for 2021 and will assume the role of President on January 1, 2022.

TWU Houston Center to host online open house Sept. 26, 2020

Texas Woman’s University will host an online open house for prospective transfer and graduate students from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 26, to showcase the university’s Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center, located in the Texas Medical Center at 6700 Fannin Street.

TWU Dietetic Internship Master’s Degree Program receives reaccreditation

The TWU Dietetic Internship Master’s Degree Program in Houston was granted reaccreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Reaccreditation is typically for seven years; however, the program was granted accreditation through 2028.
