Space Management

The Space Management, Real Estate, and Assets (SMREA) division is responsible for ensuring oversight for all property, capitalized/controlled assets, and space utilization. (oversight includes assisting departments with their asset and space inventories, reporting real property and land acquisition to the State, and providing guidance to departments on use of space as it relates to the state reporting. Reports to the state from this office include building, land, and room inventories, along with the summary of campus master plans (MP1) to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
