Digital Composition Lab

Students writing in the TWU Digital Composition Lab.

The DCL is a carefully designed learning space intended to support multimodal writing (writing using more than just one mode, or more than just the alphabet) with the goal of helping our students develop multiliteracy and collaboration skills (and our instructors develop strong skills in digital pedagogy). It’s a rich space, equipped with Surface laptops; software allowing work with sound, images, video and alphabetic texts; a sound booth; and a closet full of peripherals (including cameras, audio recorders, microphones and podcasting kits, external hard drives, and a video camera and green screen set up).
