For the last two years, Texas Woman's alum Haley Colwell has been a part of a mentoring program run by the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA), aimed at keeping young coaches in the profession. While being mentored, Colwell is also keen about helping the new generation of coaches.

In February 2023, Llorens reconnected with Texas Woman’s as the keynote speaker at the 30th annual Vanderkooi Endowed Lectureship event, hosted by the School of Occupational Therapy. Llorens spoke about mentorship, friendship and leadership.
