Can I bring guests?
Yes! However, some rooms have limited seating, so we ask that you limit it to 2 guests.

What should I bring with me?
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. There will be a good amount of walking during the event and you may spend some time outdoors in the afternoon.

Where should I park?
Parking is FREE on weekends in any of our lots. Please just be mindful of handicap, reserved, or state vehicle spots. The event will begin and end in Pioneer Circle (#65 on the campus parking map, southwest corner) so the closest parking lots are:

  • Sawyer St lot (across from Pioneer Circle)
  • Texas St lot (behind Fine Arts Building, 6 on map)
  • Parking Garage (116 on map)
  • Third St lots (north of parking garage, close to 66 and 67 on map)

I need special accommodations. Whom do I reach out to?
Please contact Veronica Durham at vdurham1@twu.edu.

Can I buy Pioneer swag while I’m there?
Yes! In addition to the fun, free goodies we’ll be handing out, our campus bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What kind of food does the dining hall serve?
Our picnic lunch will be catered by a local food truck, Render Delicatessen. Expect a buffet style selection of incredible sandwiches, chips, drinks, and desserts.

Do you have any special hotel rates for this event?
We don’t, but we have many affordable hotels nearby.

I have a question that’s not on here. Who can I ask?
Please contact Veronica Durham at vdurham1@twu.edu or Taylor Hass at thass@twu.edu.
