Hannah Werchan is living the dream. Despite dealing with a debilitating condition that has no cure, she's doing what she loves and living with those she loves in one of the most beautiful places on earth. "It's a nice life," she said.

Recruiters set sights on TWU pre-health students April 2

For the first time, TWU will host a pre-health fair in conjunction with Texas Association of Advisors for the Health Professions. The event will take place on April 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the southwest ballroom of the Student Union at Hubbard Hall.

Zander featured on C-SPAN's Lecture in History series

TWU history professor Cecily Zander will be featured on C-SPAN's Lecture in History series on Saturday, March 2, at 7 a.m. central time and again at 10:15 a.m., 7 p.m., and 10:15 p.m.

Zander was recorded recently giving a lecture on "Army Explorers of the West," discussing the federal government’s efforts to explore and control the American west from the early 1800s through the Civil War.
