Scholar Programs
The Scholar Programs Office proudly supports students admitted to Texas Woman’s University through the McDavid Scholars, Terry Scholars, Texas Leadership Scholars, President’s Leadership Council, and Legacy Leaders programs. These prestigious programs bring together high-achieving students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, service, and academic excellence in their schools and communities.

Scholar Achievements
- Serving as Texas Woman’s University Student Regents
- Leading as Student Government Association Presidents and Officers
- Founding and leading student organizations across campus
- Guiding peers as Orientation Leaders, Peer Advisors, and Resident Assistants
- Maintaining an average cumulative GPA above 3.5
Who Are Our Scholars?
Students selected for the McDavid, Terry, Texas Leadership Scholars, President’s Leadership Council, and Legacy Leaders programs arrive at TWU having already demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and academic achievement. Through Scholar Programs, they continue to build on that foundation, growing as leaders while making a meaningful impact on campus and in the broader community.
