Guest Lecturer / Guest Speaker / Performer Agreements
**Updated 4/23/26 - all Guest Lecture, Guest Speaker, Performer/Artist Agreements, and Individual/Sole Proprietor suppliers utilizing our Media Artist and Master Services Agreement, MUST be reviewed by Human Resources prior to submitting contract for review through TDX by completion and submission of Authorization of Professional Services
HR must review to determine if supplier is paid via requisition or as an employee through Payroll. If you are unsure if your supplier is an individual/sole proprietor, please reach out to the Contracts Team through our Contract Question Ticketing System. We can look that up for you.
- Submit completed Independent Contractor Form to Payroll payroll@twu.edu
- HR will sign form and direct approval to process via payroll (as employee) or contractor through requisition/PO
New Contract Templates
- Guest Lecturer Agreement - used for LECTURING to students in a classroom setting only. There should be a faculty member and course number included in contract.
- Guest Speaker Agreement - used for SPEAKING on campus outside of classroom setting. No course number would be associated with this type.
New Required Documentation:
*A professional resume or CV (Curriculum Vitae) must be provided for all Guest Lecturer, Speaker, and Performer/Artist Agreements and should be a part of your supporting documentation when entering your TDX Contract Routing Ticket.
