Meet our Staff

Marcus Wenzel
Director of Parking Services

Marcus has been with TWU since 2008. He graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Texas in 2004. Prior to joining TWU he worked with other local universities and colleges in technology fields. Marcus enjoys playing board games, gardening, and reading.

Deron Jasper
Parking Office Supervisor

Deron has been with TWU since September 2022. Before coming to TWU, Deron retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of Active Federal Service. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, watching sports, and spoiling his grandkids.

Colton Thomas
Parking Enforcement Supervisor

Colton started working at TWU in 2018 as a mover. He's been with the parking office since December 2022 and enjoys chatting with people on campus. Colton enjoys video games, books, comics, board games, and movies in his spare time.  

Sara Deines
Parking Coordinator

Sara began working with TWU Department of Public Safety Parking Office in 2004 part time as a student assistant.  She went full time in 2007.  She enjoys working with the TWU community.  When not at work, she enjoys crocheting, reading, spending time with her family and friends and hanging out with her cat, Buttons.
