Driver Education

Our new Driver Education Program is designed to teach TWU students, faculty and staff how to drive. Participants will learn the laws and skills needed to obtain first their Texas Learner’s Permit and then their Provisional Driver’s License.

Participants will sign up for the 6-hour Adult Class and will earn a certificate upon course completion. Classes will be held on Fridays at TWU, and in-car instruction will be scheduled at your convenience with no minimum or maximum required. You take your road test when you are ready.

This flexible program is offered through a partnership with the TWU Parking Office and a trained professional driving instructor, Mr. Cyrus Hafford, through Dad's Driving School.

Course and other related fees are between the participant(s) and Dad's Driving School.

The class will begin on Friday, Mar. 21 and is limited to 25 students. More classes may be added as needed.
