TWU Houston celebrates opening of Student Food Market

With a goal of supporting students holistically, Texas Woman's University Institute of Health Sciences in Houston celebrated the opening of the TWU Student Food Market March 19, 2018. The Student Food Market—a joint venture between the university and the Houston Food Bank, the nation’s largest food bank in distribution— provides perishable and non-perishable food twice monthly to food insecure students.

Building Hours:

FANNIN Entrance (Primary Entrance):

Locked 24/7 | CARD ACCESS ONLY

Campus ID is required for building access for students, faculty, and staff

Monday through Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., ID card building access ends at 9 p.m.
Saturday: 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., ID card building access ends at 4 p.m.
One Sunday each month: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Dates TBD.

All students must exit the building 15 minutes before closing.

Students are not allowed to bring family members or guests to campus on the Sundays.

Faculty and Staff have 24-hour badge access to Fannin Street and Old Main Street Entrances, Monday to Sunday.
