Curriculum

Announcements

TWU Community,

The Office of Curriculum and Strategic Initiatives is excited to announce that we have launched the pilot of our revised and augmented Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system!

This upgraded CIM system integrates the previous online course proposal process with new online program proposal features. Thus, becoming TWU's one-stop-shop for proposing and modifying all curricular needs by replacing and integrating several home-grown and separate processes into a single streamlined submission process with online approval workflows. Additionally, all course and program proposals approved in the updated CIM system will automatically feed into our online TWU catalogs. This will remove the redundancy of multiple proposal submissions and academic components having to edit their catalog program pages to match previously submitted and approved information each year!

As part of this pilot launch, we will release functionality in stages when completed by the developers. Note that no significant changes to the required information of our historical processes will be made, nor new information requirements added.

As this is a pilot launch, we welcome feedback and appreciate your patience as we get these new tools up and running, then tweaked. Special thanks to the faculty and staff who have assisted in development and early testing! If you have any questions or feedback, please contact Scott Martin at smartin4@twu.edu or 940-898-3508. You can also schedule a meeting with Scott here.
