Topic: Crafting Your Professional Identity
Format: Explore how to shape and communicate your academic and personal brand. Delve into strategies
for articulating your strengths, values, and goals in resumé writing, research statements, and
professional networking. This session will help students build a clear, compelling identity that
bridges academics, internships, and career aspirations.
October 8, 2025
Topic: Graduate School, Scholarships & Letters of Recommendation
Format: This multifaceted workshop brings together insights on applying to graduate programs, how to
secure strong letters of recommendation, and identifying funding opportunities. Students will hear
from TWU faculty and staff about navigating applications, requesting effective endorsements, and
pursuing nationally competitive scholarships, fellowships, and awards.

Topic: Internships & Experiential Learning: Turning Opportunity into Impact
Format: This interactive session helps students explore the value of internships, co-ops, and experiential
learning opportunities that enhance academic and career development. Participants will learn how
to find and apply for internships, gain insight into setting meaningful goals, and walk away with
practical strategies for reflecting on and articulating what they’ve learned. Students will also draft
resume content and practice reflection prompts that help translate experience into impact.
