Student Research Grant Competition

How To Apply:

These funds support undergraduate and graduate research at TWU. This program is not intended to support conference travel or travel to present research results (see guidelines for full list). Only one grant per student will be awarded per fiscal year. A maximum of $500 per individual may be awarded. Requests to the Student Research Grant Program must be submitted electronically using the application form, signed by the faculty mentor and department chair, and emailed to StudentResearch@twu.edu. Any application that is hand-written, not signed, exceeds the maximum amount that can be requested, does not meet the deadline, and/or does not follow the guidelines and instructions may not be accepted.

 

Fall 2026 Research Grant Application

 

Dates to Apply: 

To ensure equal opportunity for all applicants, application materials will be made available on the morning of the first day of the application period.

Fall 2026:

Applications will be accepted for the Fall 2026 competition between Thursday, September 3, 2026 and Tuesday, September 22, 2026. 

Spring 2027:

Applications will be accepted for the Spring 2027 competition between Thursday, January 14, 2027 and Tuesday, February 5, 2027. 

Summer 2027:

Applications will be accepted for the Summer 2027 competition between Thursday, April 1, 2027 and Tuesday, April 20, 2027.
