Conference Services Policies and Procedures
If you are looking for information about using any campus facility, including the Student Union, this website will have all the details. Specific information regarding campus catering and rentals can also be found here. We are now using EMS as the online reservation system to reserve spaces on campus. If you are a student organization and have questions about your login information contact Taylor Sandoval at firstname.lastname@example.org.

A wonderful resource for students, faculty and staff is the student handbook.
Distribution of Printed Materials Information
All distributed materials must be stamped (hand-stamped or electronically stamped) by the Center for Student Development prior to distribution. A stamp is not an endorsement of the information provided. A stamp indicates that the information required by the Center for Student Development is contained in the materials. In order to post in the residential halls, they need a Housing stamp is required in addition to the Student Life stamp. The complete policy can be found on our knowledge base.
If the distributed information is to publicize an event, it must include the following:
- Name of event sponsor (organization or individual)
- Phone number or email for the event sponsor(s)
- Date and time of the event
- Location of the event
- Purpose of the event
- Cost of attendance
Flyer Approval Process
To get the approval stamp electronically email a pdf version of your flyer to Debbie Rains – Business Manager of the Center for Student Development at email@example.com.
For in person approval, bring all printed copies to the Center for Student Development front desk (Student Union first floor) and we can physically stamp them all. We will also keep a copy for our records.
The only board on which you can hang a flyer without a stamp of approval is the Free Speech board that is located on the outside of the Student Union facing the ACT building.
