The TWU Concert Choir is a select, auditioned choir that sings music written for women's voices drawn from the major periods of music. The concert choir has a long history of performances of choral masterworks, and has sung at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and New York's Carnegie Hall. The TWU Chamber Singers is a select mixed ensemble that sings music written for men's and women's voices, drawn from the major periods of music. The chamber singers perform on campus, at area schools and within the community. Learn more about choir auditions.
The TWU University Chorus is open to both music and non-music majors. The ensemble performs music both on campus and in the community. No auditions are necessary for the university chorus.
The TWU Opera Ensemble specializes in the performance of operatic literature. This ensemble presents scenes and/or productions each year, with a focus on Italian, French, German and American operas, and occasionally musical theater. Non-music majors are welcome to audition. The Pioneer Voices is a select, extra-curricular women's ensemble. Comprised of only 9-15 singers, they perform music from all periods of choral literature and perform often both on and off campus. Learn more about choir auditions.
