First-Gen Internship Prep Program

The First-Generation Internship Prep Program is a virtual program, designed to prepare first-generation undergraduate students to apply for internships and connect with professionals in the workforce.

Program schedule:

Week 1: Job Searching Tips & Strategies
Week 2: Personal Branding & Application Materials
Week 3: Interview Preparation
Week 4: Mock-Interviews
Week 5: Guest Speaker/Panel

Recommended for students in their third or fourth year of school and students who have work experience, student leadership, volunteer experience, academic research projects.

*Student does not need to be a first-generation college student to apply. All majors are encouraged to apply. Program is virtual.
