First-Gen Internship Prep Program
The First-Generation Internship Prep Program is a virtual program, designed to prepare first-generation undergraduate students to apply for internships and connect with professionals in the workforce.
Program schedule:
- Week 1: Job Searching Tips & Strategies
- Week 2: Personal Branding & Application Materials
- Week 3: Interview Preparation
- Week 4: Mock-Interviews
- Week 5: Guest Speaker/Panel
Recommended for students in their third or fourth year of school and students who have work experience, student leadership, volunteer experience, academic research projects.
*Student does not need to be a first-generation college student to apply. All majors are encouraged to apply. Program is virtual.
Spring 2025 Cohort
- Week 1: Thursday, March 20, 2025 | 1:30pm–3:00pm
- Week 2: Thursday, March 27, 2025 | 1:30pm–3:00pm
- Week 3: Thursday, April 3, 2025 | 1:30pm–3:00pm
- Week 4: Thursday, April 10, 2025 | 1:30pm–3:00pm
- Week 5: Thursday, April 17, 2025 | 1:30pm–3:00pm
