Honors Faculty Fellows
Inaugural group of Honors Faculty Fellows chosen
The first cohort of TWU Honors Faculty Fellows has been selected for the 2026–27 term. Inductees include Dr. Kyle Biggerstaff, Dr. Michelle Ferrer, Dr. Gabrielle Smith, and Dr. Jennifer Wilson.
2026-2027 Faculty Fellows
Up to four Fellows are selected for each calendar year with two-year terms. Students, department chairs, deans, faculty members, or the Honors Advisory Council’s Awards committee may nominate individuals who are evaluated based on their past contributions to honors education and their commitment to continued work with honors students. The Office of Honors Programs considers contributions in the areas of teaching, research, and co-curricular support for honors education. Generally, Fellows who are selected have a track record of at least five years of experience working with TWU’s honors programs in one or more capacities.
Awardees are presented with a stipend, a plaque, and are celebrated at the annual Fellows luncheon. Fellows are invited to present their research before honors students, participate in honors events and activities, serve on the HAC, and assist in selecting both future Fellows candidates and honors research grant and award recipients.
