Honors Programs Application

ATTENTION NURSING APPLICANTS: The Honors Programs will accept Nursing major applicants ONLY IF they are a First-time-in-college Freshman. Honors cannot not accept those who are current TWU students or Transfer students.

Honors requirements and nursing curriculum work best for the student when beginning in Honors as a Freshman. We want our students to succeed in both programs with minimal stress. Honors nursing students need 3–4 years to properly complete Honors and pre-nursing requirements.

Students who may plan to change their major while in the program TO NURSING, should consult with not only the College of Nursing but the Honors Office as well to plan for successful completion of Honors requirements. While not recommended, we will support students willing to work with us and being understanding of the Honors requirements.
