The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership is proud to advocate for civic education in Texas. Through collaborations with iCivics, research, and community programs, the institute has continued to make civic education a focal point in its mission.
Constitution Day

On September 17, across the nation, Americans celebrate Constitution Day to commemorate the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution. In partnership with TWU Libraries and the Department of Social Sciences & Historical Studies, the CWG hosts voter registration and a panel every year as a part of the celebration.
