Waivers & Exemptions

Proof of Eligibility for Waivers or Exemptions must be presented to the Office of the Registrar prior to the effective Census Day for each term. Any Waiver or Exemption verified after Census Day shall apply to the next succeeding semester in which the student enrolls.

• Exemptions remove tuition and/or fees for students with Texas resident status.
• Waivers reduce a student's tuition rate from non-resident status to Texas resident status.
