Undergraduate AI Literacy Certificate

Call for Proposals- AI Intensive Course Designations

TWU's new Undergraduate Certificate in AI Literacy is a 15-credit interdisciplinary certificate open to students of all majors that builds the critical thinking, ethical judgment, and applied skills needed to navigate an AI-shaped world. This pathway will launch in Fall 2026.

Two of the five required course areas will be fulfilled through AI-intensive designated sections of existing courses, and we are now seeking faculty proposals from across disciplines. An AI-intensive section incorporates 25–49% AI-related course material and does not require a full course redesign, and many faculty may already qualify.
