David Keeley, PhD

Chief AI Strategist

Dr. Keeley leads Texas Woman's AI strategy and directs the AI Fellows program. He works across the University to support AI literacy, guide responsible adoption, and develop the governance that keeps our AI efforts grounded. He supports the Senior Fellows in their work with faculty and staff, mentors the Junior Fellows through their research, and connects the program's efforts to the University's broader goals for students, faculty, and the region.

Daniel Ernst, PhD

Associate AI Strategist & Faculty Liaison

Dr. Ernst helps shape and carry out Texas Woman's AI strategy, and works to translate strategy into action across the University. As the first point of contact for faculty questions on AI and teaching, he works alongside instructors across all three campuses to identify how and where AI belongs in their courses, and supports faculty pursuing the scholarship of teaching and learning as they examine AI's impact on student learning. Dr. Ernst also mentors Junior AI Fellows through their pedagogical research, from first question to finished project
