Governing Bodies
Faculty Senate
The Senate, comprised of elected faculty representatives, is a deliberative assembly charged with recommending academic policies and voicing faculty concerns.
Graduate Council
The elected, delegate body of the Graduate Faculty that formulates Graduate School policies and is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on all matters affecting the University's graduate programs.
Staff Council
Elected staff representatives organized to provide opportunities for democratic representation.
Student Government Association
The elected student representatives which represent all members of the student body through the Student Senate, House of Representatives, Campus Activities Board and Residence Hall Association.
Undergraduate Council
Is the collegiate faculty majority body in charge of reviewing proposals for new undergraduate programs and conducting periodic reviews, overseeing the core curriculum, and addressing university-wide issues such as retention and college readiness.
